Moving north. . .

My winter sojourn in Naples, Florida has come to an end.  My husband and I head to Minnesota today, with a stop in Tampa for me to do the Hazelden Womens Healing Conference, a program that Hazelden has been offering in various locations around the country for fifteen years.  It's really a wonderful program and CEU credits are awarded for attendance.  It's always a two day program, a Friday and a Saturday.  Check my web site (www.womens-spirituality. com) or the Hazelden web site: www.hazelden.org for dates and locations. Disappointment is part of the journey. . .

I don't want to speak for others but it seems fair to say that no one enjoys being disappointed.  I received some disappointing news yesterday.  The content of the news didn't affect me directly but I felt sadness for the person it did affect.  I know my tendency to take on the feelings of others, at times, and I am working to refrain from doing that.  I am also working to remember all of the pearls of wisdom I have heard over the last forty years: that whatever happens is part of the divine unfolding of one's life.  That no door closes without another door o[...]

Your Experience, Strength and Hope

We are exactly where we need to be. . .

I just returned from a wonderful experience in Augusta, MO.  I have been facilitating a writers' workshop at the F.R.E.S.H. Renewal Center for 9 years and each time I think, "How could it ever be better than this?"  Once again, we closed the event on Sunday with tears streaming down our cheeks.  What a glorious group of women and men and the writing was awesome.
