It's an exciting day, but then isn't every day exciting?

I went to the fitness center today and walked for 30 minutes on the treadmill for the first time since my surgery which was a mere 2 weeks ago today. I continue to be astounded by the progress I have made. The initial recovery from the replacement I had 10 years ago was 3 months long, and even then I wasn't without pain. And for a full year, I was tentative with my movements. Some have suggested it's due to my own commitment to fitness but I was committed to a work out schedule then too. The opportunity to express love or experience fear is always with us.

IF IT ISN’T LOVE, IT’S ALWAYS FEAR. I was first introduced to this idea as I timidly began my spiritual quest in the 1970’s. Every gathering can send forth a healing message. . .

I was at a wonderful twelve step meeting Tuesday night. Loving thoughts never fail to heal. . .

EVERY LOVING THOUGHT IS TRUE. EVERY THING ELSE IS AN APPEAL FOR HEALING AND HELP. This particular spiritual principle has become very important to my peace of mind. Envisioning the experiences we desire in 2010 is a good beginning. . .

"Seeing" where we want to go is the first step to getting there, I believe. Making resolutions is one way of defining our direction. We have no doubt all done that many times, and even kept some of the resolutions for a few weeks, perhaps. Seeing our companions as specific to our journey. . .

Have you ever considered how really important to your growth every person you've met has been? Nary a one of them showed up accidentally. Amazing isn't it? Every time we make eye contact, we are experiencing a holy encounter. . .

What a glorious opportunity we have to shift the universe just a tiny bit if we look into the eyes of the many people we see for just one day, offering them a smile or a nod of the head. The value of connection can't be overstated. . .

Before sitting down to write this blog today, I read all of the recent comments that have posted and I want to tell you how grateful I am that you are taking the time to read the blog and then the additional time to respond. Bill W and Dr. Bob. . .

Last evening a number of us listened to the talk Bill Wilson gave the very evening of Dr. Bob Smith's death. We sat mesmerized. When in doubt. . .

My life has grown simpler by believing that whom ever I meet, wherever I am drawn to be, is part of the divine plan for my life. This idea is offering me comfort as I write this because I am struggling to embrace the news that a lovely woman, who has been coming to a writers' workshop that I have offered for the last nine years in MO, died on Sunday.
