We all have work that calls to us. . .

I am constantly asked how I have managed to write so many books.  And my honest response is, I don't know.  I feel called to do what I am doing. I think the same is true for every one who is feeling fulfilled in their work.  And if your work isn't giving you a sense of well-being, perhaps it's time to search your mind for that which you do feel a passion for. Hopelessness need not be a condition without end. . .

There are innumerable personal situations that can cause creeping hopelessness.  You have been diagnosed with a terminal illness with only months to live or a parent dies unexpectedly.  Maybe your troubled teenager is on the run again and you feel you have no where to turn. Reflections in the Mirror - You and Yourself

Well, with help, I did it. . .

My first You Tube is now available on Google, thanks to a very good friend.  We always second guess ourselves, don't we.  My first reaction was surprise; my next reaction was: My hair looks awful!  And then I had to strain to hear it.  Obviously the volume was turned down on my computer, and I didn't  realize it.  All things to be improved upon in the next attempt. Solutions to be determined. . .

Detachment is letting the solutions be determined by God. Solutions are seldom simple.  Perhaps that’s because they generally involve other people too.  When any one of us is certain we have the best solution for any problem or situation confronting us, we have quite naturally chosen one that benefits us, or our loved ones.  There’s nothing wrong with that stance.   However, it may not be the best solution for all of the people who are being affected by the situation.  That’s when back- ing off, and letting God be a participant in every decision and the[...]
