Every person reading this has had a significant and troubling experience in a relationship. This might have occurred in childhood, your first marriage, or last week. How did you handle it? What was your solution? What might you have done differently?
It’s important that we interact with others in some fashion when we have been troubled by an experience of any kind. We all heal our lives a tiny bit more when any one of us reaches out with suggestions, compassion and sincere interest about the well being of one another. We are not alone. Ever. But until we dare to allow others to see us as we really are and feel, we aren’t privy to all the growth that’s available to any one of us. The beauty of sharing ourselves with someone else, or even many others, is that we let our own pain diminish somewhat and we show others by example that sharing what’s innermost in our minds and hearts, we all heal a bit more.
This journey is not meant to be solo. we are on this path together quite by design. Let’s celebrate our coming together one story, one moment of sharing at a time.
