I find such comfort in the idea that we are “here, now,”<\/strong> intentionally. \u00a0I love the awareness that whomever I meet, only casually or quite seriously, was sent. \u00a0In fact, I had “requested” the meeting at a time and in a space I have long since forgotten about. \u00a0My first sponsor told me this in 1976. \u00a0I completely dismissed the idea then. \u00a0In fact, I felt uncomfortable around her for a time. \u00a0Her spiritual beliefs often seemed farfetched to me.<\/p>\n

She was a psychic. \u00a0She did readings and healings for women and men. \u00a0Many in our circle of friends relied on her for help for their every decision. \u00a0I was concerned for them. \u00a0I knew I didn’t want to “make her my Higher Power.” She was a loving and very wise woman, however, and I learned much from her. \u00a0In time, I came to believe that what she said about the people we meet was right. \u00a0At least believing it relieved me of many hours of anguish and confusion.<\/p>\n

Now I share this same idea with others all the time, in my books, when I am speaking to a group at a seminar, and even in casual conversations. \u00a0Caroline Myss is “the mother” of this idea. \u00a0Perhaps there were many spiritual guides who preceded her, sharing this same idea; but it was from her book, Sacred Contracts,<\/strong> that I found confirmation for what my sponsor had told me many years before.<\/p>\n

Adopting the idea as a truth<\/strong><\/em> I can count on has changed my experience of life. \u00a0I no longer quake with fear when someone I don’t know shows up on my path and makes a fuss about something. \u00a0I understand that he or she is serving as my “teacher” for that moment, and all I have to do is observe, taking from the experience whatever I want to.<\/p>\n

Every moment of my life, and yours too, is divine, filled with the exact experiences we need to get to the very next moment. \u00a0An awesome philosophy, isn’t it. \u00a0Every step we take is a baby step toward the divine ending we all will experience one day. \u00a0In the meantime, enjoying every person and each moment is what we have been invited to do. \u00a0We can be assured that no one will show up who shouldn’t. \u00a0We can also be certain \u00a0that we will know how to handle every experience, and “teacher,” \u00a0if we turn to our “inner source” for the direction we have been promised is there.<\/p>\n

How simple and loving our life is when we see it correctly. \u00a0There is nothing to fear. \u00a0Ever. \u00a0We are where we need to be. \u00a0Always. \u00a0We get what we need. \u00a0Now. \u00a0Let’s rejoice.<\/p>\n
