I have been out of sorts lately. \u00a0I have been told I need a hip replacement and <\/strong>I have a very busy travel schedule. \u00a0I know when I would prefer having the surgery. \u00a0However, God’s plan may be different from mine. \u00a0Every thing I have “preached” for years has come back to haunt me. \u00a0It’s time to practice what I so freely preach. We are always in the right place at the right time. \u00a0There is a perfect plan unfolding for my life. \u00a0If I listen to my higher power, I will be able to experience this next stage of my life peacefully.<\/em> And on and on.<\/p>\n

But then I come back to “ya but.” \u00a0I have a window of time that the surgery would fit so comfortably in. \u00a0But will that fit the surgeon’s schedule as well as God’s? \u00a0Time will tell. \u00a0In the meantime, I am getting a lot of practice waiting patiently for the date to be set.<\/p>\n

I realize I do have a say in this. \u00a0We always do. \u00a0I can say no, that time frame doesn’t work and I may need to do that if the doctor’s first available opening is in the middle of one of my already planned trips. \u00a0But there is always the second choice. \u00a0I have to ask myself, “is there some thing I can do right now?” \u00a0And the answer is no. \u00a0I have put forth the effort necessary on behalf of my health concerns. \u00a0Now the outcome is in God’s hands.<\/p>\n

It’s a relief to have said this just now. \u00a0I can feel my shoulders relax a bit. \u00a0We can only do so much. \u00a0Then we need to let go. \u00a0I think I just did. \u00a0The answer is on its way to me right now. \u00a0We do always get every answer we need when we actually need it. \u00a0How grateful I am for having learned about acceptance. \u00a0It is the answer to all that ails me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
