I am beginning a very new venture tonight. \u00a0It’s an on-line course based on my newest book, GETTING UNSTUCK.<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 The link to the course is:\u00a0http:\/\/www.entheos.com\/academy\/courses\/Getting-Unstuck<\/a>\u00a0should you have an interest in signing up. \u00a0It’s not too late! \u00a0I love offering workshops and this will be similar, just no travel involved. \u00a0I sit in my study in front of my computer, talk live by phone to participants who can ask questions and make comments, as they refer to the outline of the points for discussion which will have been sent to them beforehand. \u00a0Everyone who signs up gets the outline.<\/p>\n

Another great aspect of this course, (and there are four classes, one a week) is that the participants can download an MP3 of each class the following day if they want to listen again or if they had to miss it all together at the time it was being offered live. \u00a0In fact, these downloads will be part of the academy’s library from now on which means that you can share the course information with friends who might want to take it too, on their own, at a later time. \u00a0The fact that the on-line workshop\/course will be available for years to come is a terrific added feature, for the teachers as well as the participants.<\/p>\n

I’m glad I have lived long enough to actively participate in these 21st century internet opportunities. \u00a0I can’t even imagine what the next internet opportunity might look like. \u00a0But I can assure you, I will be an eager participant. \u00a0I owe my continuing interest in new ideas, new ventures and the desire for new growth opportunities to my continuing commitment to recovery. \u00a0Had I not remained on “the path” since 1974, my life would likely be in shambles. \u00a0For sure I wouldn’t have written the many books that carry my name. \u00a0(See the book section on my website for the complete listing.) Nor would I be sharing the wisdom I have learned from the many others I have come to know and cherish in the rooms of Al-Anon and AA. \u00a0I doubt not, at all, that I have been “called” to do exactly what I do.<\/p>\n

I am so grateful to all of you who have touched my life over these many years. \u00a0I believe that we met, either in the flesh, through an email, a book or on-line in one of my blogs, quite intentionally. \u00a0There are no accidents!<\/strong> \u00a0That was one of the first things I learned in the fellowship rooms and I was reassured of it in the small booklet: Acceptance<\/strong><\/em>, that was freely given to many of us by a sponsor or a friend when we first came into a recovery room. \u00a0Knowing that I have always<\/strong> been where God has needed me to be is so reassuring. \u00a0I’m convinced this fact of my life, and yours too, will never change. \u00a0Being able to count on something that has given me so much, knowing that this will always be the case, gives me quiet contentment. \u00a0What a blessing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
