My last post was regarding how blue I had been feeling. \u00a0I am relieved to say my spirits have lifted. \u00a0Many things contributed to the freedom I now feel, but the primary “lifter” was a comment from a loving friend who walks the path I am on. \u00a0He was God-sent, that day. \u00a0I’m sure of it.<\/p>\n
I think God is always sending help. \u00a0We simply don’t always “see” it or accept it. \u00a0I knew my friend’s words were Truth<\/strong> and I was more than eager to allow them to recharge my perception. \u00a0As I left the meeting, I knew my heart had been touched. \u00a0The veil of darkness was lifting with each step I took. \u00a0He had fulfilled God’s plan for me that day and I was seeing with fresh eyes.<\/p>\n Since that experience, every day, each moment actually, has felt different, lighter, more hopeful. \u00a0We are angels in skin. \u00a0I’m convinced of it. \u00a0To serve one another in that capacity is our primary “assignment” on this journey. \u00a0It requires that each one of us must listen intently to the words of our companions and<\/strong> the words that are being sent by God to us to share. \u00a0We are the conduits of help; the purveyors of God’s message in that instant.<\/p>\n We are on this journey to make a difference. \u00a0We don’t have to be “a Bill Gates or an Albert Einstein.”<\/strong><\/em> \u00a0We simply have to be willing listeners and conveyors of truth and love. \u00a0God will do the rest. \u00a0For us and for our companions. \u00a0It’s a simple equation. \u00a0God speaks. \u00a0We listen. \u00a0We share. \u00a0And the world around us is helped.<\/p>\n When I look back at the body of work I have done since the publication of my first book: EACH DAY A NEW BEGINNING<\/strong><\/em>, I know I have been listening to an inner voice. \u00a0I choose to call it God. \u00a0I think we all have access to that voice<\/em> and the name we give it is far less important than the awareness that it’s there, it’s meant for us, it will guide our every step if we are willing. \u00a0I have been willing. \u00a0Again and again. \u00a0I intend to remain willing. \u00a0I also intend to continue sharing with others “the truth” as I know it.<\/p>\n My peace relies on my willingness to be present, here and now, to the message of the moment. \u00a0It’s not a complicated message. \u00a0It’s to love. \u00a0To listen. \u00a0To be gentle and kind and hold out hope for others when they appear on our path. \u00a0My friend offered his wisdom to me and I began to see differently. \u00a0My prayer this day and every day is that I do the same for others.<\/p>\n Are you willing to make the difference in some one else’s life today?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" My last post was regarding how blue I had been feeling. \u00a0I am relieved to say my spirits have lifted. \u00a0Many things contributed to the freedom I now feel, but the primary “lifter” was a comment from a loving friend who walks the path I am on. \u00a0He was God-sent, that day. \u00a0I’m sure of […]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[10,12],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2576","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-reflections-in-the-mirror-you-and-yourself","category-what-i-believe-you-and-your-higher-power"],"yoast_head":"\n
