Getting Unstuck<\/strong><\/em> is the title of my newest book. \u00a0It’s a companion to Change Your Mind and Your Life Will Follow<\/strong><\/em>. \u00a0I loved writing both books. \u00a0Actually, I’d have to say that all twenty-six books that have “called to me,” I have loved writing. There is no doubt that I am living my bliss. \u00a0But Getting Unstuck<\/strong><\/em>, in particular, deals with the issues that continue to snag me so easily in any ordinary day. \u00a0I’m certain that’s why it became a necessary book for me to tackle. \u00a0I am continuing to learn and need the “instruction”<\/em><\/strong> I get from writing what I hear my inner voice say.<\/p>\n

The topics covered in Getting Unstuck<\/strong><\/em> run the gamut from “minding my own business,” to celebrating you and your journey while doing no harm; in fact, while listening intently to God as I understand Him, in the process. \u00a0We intentionally travel, side by side, as teachers, as way-showers, but not as determiners of one another’s choices. \u00a0And that’s often pretty difficult to accept. \u00a0My choices for you seem so sensible, after all.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Learning to let go: detaching<\/em> from all that is assigned to your hula hoop<\/strong>, in other words; \u00a0then choosing our own reactions thoughtfully, a choice which can be helped by quieting the mind so we can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, or the God of our Understanding; are the substantive items on the agenda each one of us has been given for this life we were born to experience.<\/p>\n

When I remember that the events in my life are not happening willy-nilly, but are unfolding just as they were orchestrated to unfold, I feel such relief. \u00a0And this goes for all of the events, even those that were extremely painful. \u00a0I am not in charge.<\/strong> \u00a0I am not in charge of you or of my own path either.<\/p>\n

What a blessing knowing this is. \u00a0And yet, how often, in the blink of an eye, I forget and try to manage your affairs, make your choices, control your outcomes. \u00a0If you allowed me to do that, and sometimes we do let others take charge, the result is generally eventual resentment. \u00a0Maybe not immediately but it will surface in time. \u00a0Mark my words. \u00a0I have been there too many times.<\/p>\n

What I share with you here and in all of the books I have written, and all the workshops I have led or will ever lead, has been based on my own experience. \u00a0Always. \u00a0I think sharing who we are, and who we are struggling to become, in full view of others, is the greatest of all gifts. \u00a0It’s my hope every day of my life that I am making a difference, some where, some time. \u00a0And listening to God, intently, will guarantee I am not too far off of the mark. \u00a0Are you listening to God? \u00a0 He’s standing right beside you. \u00a0Now. \u00a0And always.<\/p>\n
