I am thrilled every time I go on my website to write another post because I take that opportunity to read comments readers have made on previous posts. \u00a0I feel really blessed because so many of you are writing to me. \u00a0And a number of you have written a few times. \u00a0I had no idea that would happen, I guess, but it’s a great honor to be connected to you in this way. \u00a0First, it’s wonderful that you have taken the time out of your busy lives to read the posts but then taking the time to comment too simply astounds me. \u00a0Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Writing is a fairly solitary pursuit. \u00a0Just me and my Higher Power who “prompts” what I say as though we are One. \u00a0But then knowing \u00a0I have readers convinces me we are all part of a community, and not an “accidental” community.<\/p>\n
I guess I want to stretch this idea into a full-sized post because of the broader meaning contained within this connection we are making. \u00a0Your comments and how they honor me is the kind of interaction that helps to heal the planet, from my perspective. \u00a0Knowing that we<\/strong><\/em> have a “witness” to our ideas makes the expression of them so much more meaningful. \u00a0But we don’t need a blog post to initiate this kind of activity. \u00a0We can make the connection with each other within every encounter we have. \u00a0And should<\/strong>. \u00a0I have shared this idea in some form in previous posts. \u00a0I think “our real <\/em>work” in this life is to look one another in the eye and pay homage to one another’s humanity. \u00a0There is no greater gift we can offer another soul than rapt attention, in the moment.
