{"id":123,"date":"2009-10-22T08:27:20","date_gmt":"2009-10-22T13:27:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/karencasey.wordpress.com\/?p=123"},"modified":"2009-10-22T08:27:20","modified_gmt":"2009-10-22T13:27:20","slug":"when-in-doubt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.womens-spirituality.com\/?p=123","title":{"rendered":"When in doubt. . ."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My life has grown simpler by believing that whom ever I meet, wherever I am drawn to be, is part of the divine plan for my life. \u00a0This idea is offering me comfort as I write this because I am struggling to embrace the news that a lovely woman, who has been coming to a writers&#8217; workshop that I have offered for the last nine years in MO, died on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>I was most recently with her in September and she had grown so much. \u00a0She was full of smiles and hope for so many areas of her life. \u00a0She had come a long way from her first appearance at this workshop. \u00a0And her journey through this life had been arduous.<\/p>\n<p>My first response was the proverbial &#8220;why was she taken now?&#8221; \u00a0While it&#8217;s true, Shelia was on a better trajectory than she had been, we simply can&#8217;t know, for her or for any of us, the ultimate twists and turns that await us. \u00a0All we can know is that we are not alone in this life or any of the transitions any of us will make as we move into what is next for us.<\/p>\n<p>Having doubt is normal. \u00a0Most of us share in that, perhaps many times a day, in fact. \u00a0But the journey continues and we will get to the next, right stopping place, aided by the Presence who also aided Shelia.<\/p>\n<p>She will be missed by all of us. \u00a0And we will share many stories of her between now and when the group reassembles next September. \u00a0Carrying the memory of one who touches us is a great blessing to her, to us and to the entire human community. \u00a0We talked about the &#8220;hovering angels,&#8221; at that workshop. \u00a0I believe they are always close at hand. \u00a0She has now become one for all of us. \u00a0What a blessing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My life has grown simpler by believing that whom ever I meet, wherever I am drawn to be, is part of the divine plan for my life. \u00a0This idea is offering me comfort as I write this because I am struggling to embrace the news that a lovely woman, who has been coming to a [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[12],"tags":[114],"class_list":["post-123","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-what-i-believe-you-and-your-higher-power","tag-hovering-angels"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
